The Devotion Lab is a series of guided practice spaces designed to support your energetic recalibration, embodied transformation, and the well-being of the collective.

Transformation takes place through consistent daily practice. But when the work is done in community, its potency expands.

When we show up for ourselves within a shared field of devotion, we generate an energy that moves beyond the individual. We create ripples that uplift, heal, and liberate — not just within our own lives, but the collective field we all share, and the world we are all building together.

Each lab is a themed sadhana.

Sadhana is the Sanskrit word for daily spiritual practice — a discipline of showing up for yourself each day in devotion to mind, body, and spirit.

Unfolding over a set number of days — some 11, some 40 — each Devotion Lab is designed to help you recalibrate your energy field, shift internal patterns, and return to deeper alignment with your sacred truth and fullest expression.

Each Devotion Lab includes

A live virtual opening workshop

Set the energetic field, receive full guidance, and practice the sadhana together for the first time.

Self-Led Sadhana

Commit to your 7, 14, 21, or 40-day daily practice done in your own space, in your own time.

This year asked a lot of us.

2025 — a 9 Universal Year and a Snake year — was designed to unravel what’s outdated, demand deep surrender, and initiate slow, sacred shedding. Many of us faced cycles that needed to fall apart, identities that needed to be dissolved, and paths that no longer made sense. It’s been a year of deep crumbling and quiet becoming.

This 21-day devotional practice offers a gentle but potent way to release what you’re not taking with you, and prepare for the bold new beginnings of 2026, a 1 Universal Year.

We begin on the Scorpio New Moon, a portal for emotional clearing and truth-telling, and complete under the Gemini Full Moon, a moment of mental renewal and insight.

Through a short daily somatic practice using breath, mudra, and mantra, you’ll be supported in gently regulating your nervous system, cutting energetic cords, and intentionally creating space for what’s next.

Whether you’re used to having a full spiritual practice or none at all, this is an accessible and powerful way to close this year with clarity and devotion.

FAQs

  • Cord-cutting is a sacred practice used across spiritual traditions and cultures to sever lingering energetic attachments to people, patterns, identities, and experiences. It creates space for clarity, vitality, and personal sovereignty.

In this Lab, cord-cutting is approached through somatic yogic tools using mantra, mudra, movement, and meditation to clear energetic debris and call your life force back into the present.

This work is very safe, grounded, and essential for anyone committed to living an intentional life, healing forward, and staying aligned with their truth.

The practice will be led by Melanie Santos, an experienced practitioner trained in energetic healing, somatic awareness, and the sacred science of Kundalini Yoga who has guided many through spiritual and emotional transformation since 2013.

  • Yes, you can still join us for the Cord-Cutting Lab even if you can’t make the live opening call on Friday, November 22 at 8 PM ET.

While attending live is encouraged, a replay will be uploaded to the private Lab Resource Room shortly after the call ends. You’ll just need to watch the replay and begin your 21-day practice on your own so you can stay aligned with the group’s rhythm.

This is a communal journey, but one that’s practiced in your own time, making it both expansive and supportive. Watching the replay and starting your practice ensures you can join in the shared reflections and energy of the group in our private community space.

  • Not at all. The Devotion Lab is open to all levels. Whether you’re new to these practices or returning to deepen your devotion, you’ll be guided through everything you need to know.

Participants must be 18 years or older to join.

  • If you miss a day, it’s okay — there’s no shame — but you’ll need to start the 21-day cycle again from the beginning.

Sadhana is a devotional practice—an agreement between you, your spirit, and the energy you’re cultivating. Recommitting is part of the path. Each time you return, you strengthen your devotion, your integrity, and your capacity to hold the change you’re creating.

  • The core practice takes just 11-15 minutes a day. You’ll want to give yourself a few extra minutes to settle in and close out with presence, but this is intentionally designed to be doable within a busy life.

  • No — the Devotion Lab is open to all gender identities. Everyone is welcome to walk this path of remembrance and transformation.

Participants must be 18 years or older to join.

  • The private community offers real-time support, shared accountability, and the opportunity to practice together in sacred space throughout the journey.

It is held inside the Resonance Room, a free community space open to everyone. However, only current Devotion Lab participants will have access to the locked chat, video call space, and resource room reserved for each Devotion Lab.

You’ll receive access to the locked spaces upon registration.

  • The Cord-Cutting Lab is offered at $55. This includes the live opening workshop and ceremony, the full 21-day sadhana, access to the private community space, and the closing integration call.

  • Refunds and cancellations are available until November 20, 2025, the day before we begin. To cancel, you’ll need to email info@melaniesantos.co by that date.

Refunds and cancellations will not be issued after November 20, 2025 under any circumstances.

By signing up for this Lab, you agree to these terms.

  • Scholarships are not available for this Lab, but exchange opportunities are.

If you’re interested in participating by supporting the community space — helping to tend to the daily flow of conversations and shared reflections — in exchange for free participation, please email info@melaniesantos.co to inquire.

  • Feel free to send any remaining questions to info@melaniesantos.co.

21-Day Devotional Practice

In both yogic tradition and modern neuroscience, 21 days marks the first phase of lasting transformation. A daily practice repeated over three weeks begins to rewire the nervous system, stabilize mental and emotional patterns, and create space for new pathways to take root. It’s the perfect container to end the year with clarity, intention, and direction.

Mantra + Mudra

Chanting ancient sound currents while pressing the fingertips in sequence activates energetic meridians or “highways” in the body and begins to dissolve old mental imprints. This process cuts energetic cords and clears space for new, aligned patterns.

Somatic Release

Intentional, intuitive movement has been scientifically shown to discharge stress, regulate the nervous system, and restore mind-body connections. Energetically, it supports the shedding of stagnation, allowing your body to shake off residue and integrate the healing effects of sound and intention.

Energetic Cord-Cutting

We carry energetic ties to people, patterns, and past versions of ourselves that are no longer aligned. If left unexamined, these cords drain our life force and cloud our path. This practice gently severs what’s outdated, freeing you to lead a life that is intentional, liberated, and anchored in who you truly are. When we heal our energy, we intevitably help shift the collective toward wholeness.
