Kundalini Yoga Summer Solstice Portal

The Summer Solstice occurs on June 21st. It brings a change in season and a shift in light where the Sun's energy – associated with our vitality, identity, and ego – is at its peak. Energetically, the Solstice represents a time of increased power and motivation. As the light of the Universe comes to culmination, so do we.

Historically, the Solstice has been upheld as a time when we can harness its energy for deep transformation and the manifestation of abundance, growth, and renewal.

We have a choice. To work with the light or intend to remember that we are the light.

During this portal, we will discuss how we can align with the energetic tides of the New Moon and the Solstice to maximize our healing, evolution, and alignment with abundance and ease. Then we will transmute our pain into power and amplify the projection of our intentions with a powerful Kundalini Yoga class curated for the energy of the season.

Meaning “awareness” and known as the nerve of the soul, Kundalini is the atomic energy of creative consciousness, the whole energy of the cosmos and the Divine within and beyond ourselves.

Our Kundalini resides dormant in the base of the spine – the root chakra or Muladhara – and when awakened, it travels up until it reaches the head, helping us break through the limitations of the human world, reconnecting us to Divine consciousness, strengthening our intuition, reuniting us with our highest self, leading us to our most Divine truth and helping us remember who are.

Kundalini awakening is a result of Kundalini Yoga – the fastest way to create transformation and establish alignment of your mind, body, and soul. Practicing it stimulates and shifts your glandular, electromagnetic, circulatory, and nervous system through the combination of pranayama (breathwork), kriyas and asanas (strategic postures), meditation, and mantra to raise the Kundalini energy.

Most call Kundalini Yoga the most spiritual form of yoga. It’s a living technology with ancient roots that date back to 1000 BC where it was mentioned in the Vedic texts. Today, it continues to inspire spiritual grounding, healing, and reconnection with infinity in the millions who incorporate it into their lives and daily sadhanas.
