HALLOWEEN 2014: EVENING
I’ll be honest…this year’s get-up wasn’t as sensational as last year’s ventriloquist DIY costume, but it was a lot of fun creating it last minute.
Below are some of the products I used, the most important being Ben-Nye’s white face paint. A Halloween costume done right means that all your accessories are intact.
Slapping on some cheap face paint is a major NO for me as a costume aficionado. I brushed the paste on with a foundation brush and patted on Bare Mineral’s Mineral Veil to mattify and secure it. I wanted to make sure that my face wasn’t going to budge between all the photos, hugs and kisses and bar-hopping shenanigans. It didn’t!
The blood was a super last minute pick-up at CVS. Decided I wanted to make use of my plunging neckline in the most disgusting way possible.
All in all, it was a great weekend. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did! The next few weeks calls for more costumes and glam. Stay tuned to see why and what I have up my sleeve.
…Until next year.
