#ReasonsWhyTheresJoyOnMyFace ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I spent yesterday evening with @theccync and @deedyer267 and got to share the beauty of setting intentions and affirmations to activate #ThePowerWithin 💡 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m half-way into a 7-hour road-trip to #VABeach for a weekend away with @hewyheff! We’re going to @pharrell’s @somethinginthewater 😎 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We stopped in Newark, NJ because @happycow (helps you find vegetarian + vegan options anywhere in the world) told us there was a vegan restaurant along the way. It was a beautiful black-owned vegan stop amongst a bunch of fast food chains. (Shoutout to The Healthy Hippy!) We had the BEST #ImpossibleBurger + this yummy strawberry, banana, peanut butter, almond milk smoothie ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Next month is #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth and it is gearing up to be my busiest business month yet. As it should be. I hope ya’ll are ready for all the gems. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My shirt is linty af, but ya’ll peep this manicure! I get my aura photographed every few months as a form of #selfcare. This is the first time that I have EVER had all my chakra colors dance around me. This is the first time I’ve EVER been somewhat fully balanced. It feels so good to know that all the work I’m putting into taking care of myself – something I used to preach #onhere but take for granted in my own life – is paying off. In a major way at that. Thank you weekly therapy, #WholeGlow40, deep conversations with my loved ones, good sex with my husband, and constant prayer. I don’t know what I’d do without ya’ll. 🌈 #ChakrasOnPoint #MagicJewelry
Shortly after creating this, I learned that single-use-plastics frequently do not make it to a landfill or are recycled. A full 32% of the 78 million tons of plastic packaging produced annually is left to flow into our oceans; the equivalent of pouring one garbage truck of plastic into the ocean every minute. I’m don’t subscribe to any religions, but I still go to church and celebrate holidays like Easter. It’s taken me years to become confident practicing my #faith however it makes me feel most connected, so on days like today I celebrate. Not only the beautiful story of Jesus’ resurrection, but my own. In my head and heart, #ChristConciousness has so much to do with remembering wtf you are, but none of that can happen without love. Something I’m trying my hardest to teach my little boo. So show love today, accept it, surround yourself with it today. Even if that means love in the solitude of your own brilliant presence. You feel me? Happy Easter. ❤️
Intend to flourish, and let yourself be watered without trying to control the pour. When you stop trying to make sense of what’s about to come, you align with your blessings faster than you thought possible. Because we’re deserving of more than our human brains can process. They say it takes 21 days to make a habit. Well, I’m at 23 days of my #WholeGlow40 journey and I can definitely get used to this glow. 🌞 Also, the bomb ass meals I’ve created including this #vegan one-pan Mexican quinoa bowl with @traderjoes meatless ground meat, black beans, corn, homemade cilantro avocado sauce + fancy little radish garnish.
